I see a lot of safety from COVID 19, there is a great deal more to provide safety from.

Good brotherhood, developing leadership and full engagement.

Safe gathering of people. Re-establishing basic operations at an exceptional level. A responsible series of social interactions/events. Maintaining the positives of virtual connections (e.g. with alumni).

Our Corp Board goal is always to provide a safe and comfortable home. The pandemic wasn't comfortable mentally or physically. Hoping we can get back to a pre-pandemic environment.

Does liability apply to Chapter Advsiors as well as building association members?

does D&O apply to Live In Advisors if those Advisors are not employees nor a fraternity member?

Should we monitor our in house video camera system to try and intervene to stp a potential problem? If there is a problem and we didn't intervene, does having a video system make us more liable?

Thank you for focusing on what is covered at the local level for our house corporations!! Is there any way that you can bring the conversation up a level and let everyone know how the national organizations carry the master policies and therefore how each entity (HC, Alumnae Association, Parents Club, etc.) are covered?

Rob. Do you all (or others on the call) have a process to follow up on required renter's insurance policies with individual members? My thought is if we require something... we should check to see if folks are doing it. Perhaps that follow-up on a renter's insurance requirement isn't needed however.

House Manager as a member of the chapter, not a outside person that is hired.

To clarify, a renters policy covers whether or not a particular member is allowed to reside in the chapter house, not related to being a member of the chapter.

Does Holmes Murphy offer renter’s insurance?

Hi Bonnie, we do not currently do this for the individuals, but we can certainly make referrals. Any personal lines insurer such as State Farm, Allstate, GEICO, Farmers, etc. can offer a policy for a reasonable rate. The student's home owners policy is certainly available, but just harder to confirm.

And to clarify, it doesn't matter who pays the policy premium, correct? Meaning, as long as it gets paid, there is coverage. It doesn't matter if the chapter pays the property policy vs. the HC. There is still coverage...

What about coverage for the house director?

June, the Sorority policy has some business personal property coverage for the live in house director that is subject to a lower deductible.

Difference between rent agreement with chapter vs with individual members. Presentation seems to lean toward individual rental agreements.
